Sun Coast Medical is proud to present a cost-effective, low maintenance, complete Phacoemulsifier
![](images/phaco1.jpg) Model 2000-50 Phaco System
Two-year Warranty
- High Performance Features
- Compact Travel Size
- Rugged Dependability
- True Affordability
Feature-packed, Easy-to-Use console
: Ergonomically designed for ease of operation, with
large, easy-to-read displays, the console is very simple to operate. No
programming, no complex displays, no waiting, no confusion.
All-Titanium U/S Hand piece
: Constructed entirely of the ultimate surgical
metal, this U/S hand piece will not corrode. Far better than stainless steel,
titanium completely ends the possibility of corrosion. Lightweight and
virtually indestructible, this U/S hand piece's comfort and feel are
unsurpassed by any other.
Advanced Irrigation and Aspiration
: The low-pulsation, six roller peristaltic pump
gives the cataract surgeon complete control of vacuum and aspiration flow rate,
as well as freedom from anterior chamber shallowing. Audio vacuum feedback
informs the cataract surgeon at all times what vacuum level has been achieved.
Vacuum in the U/S models is adjustable from 0-200 mmHg, providing safe and
adequate vacuum for the latest phacoemulsification techniques.
Continuously Autotuned Emulsification:
The most advanced high-power ultrasonics available
can emulsify all nuclei from the softest to the very hardest densities.
Continuous autotuning circuitry gives the cataract surgeon superior control at
all U/S power levels and nuclei densities.
Built-in Vitrectomy and Cautery
: An internal air compressor eliminates the
connection to an external air source for vitrectomy. The lightweight pneumatic
guillotine cutter is full autoclavable. Cutting rate is adjustable over a wide
range, including single-cut settings for optional pneumatic scissors. Bipolar
diathermy delivers predictable tissue coagulation.
Convenient, Travel-tested Portability
: This phaco system is compact enough to carry in a
briefcase or to accompany the traveler as carry-on baggage (with accessories).
It is self contained and engineered to the rigors of travel.
Superior Components Provide Reliability
: The quality of components in this phaco system is
unsurpassed. From the precision peristaltic pump to the aerospace-quality
vacuum transducer, this phaco is built to last.
